Influenced by female powerhouse vocalists—Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Sinead O-Connor, and Linda Ronstadt—Julia breathes new life into the classic sound of vocal legends while crafting a voice uniquely her own. 

Julia’s love for the stage was formed in the musical theater scene of North County, San Diego, where she discovered her passion for performance. Throughout her experience in theater, she gained ten years of intensive training in multiple contemporary dance styles, collecting various awards for her strong, expressive stage presence. She also possessed talent for writing and storytelling, which took her to UCLA, where she earned her BA in English Literature. During her undergraduate studies, she earned her place as a lead mezzo-soprano in the renowned UCLA Chorale, staying well practiced in vocal performance. 

In her mid-twenties, Julia has leaped into the world of independent music, weaving her love for storytelling and music into songwriting, recording original records. 

These days, Julia can be found captivating audiences at local venues that leave a lasting impression. As a true performer, she’s crafting experiences to be shared and enjoyed.
